Recent National Retailers Card Compromise May Affect You
PLEASE READ BELOW!
As reported in the news over the last several days, there have been a growing number of national retailers that may have been the target of separate and unrelated data breaches intended to steal sensitive debit and credit card information. We understand the retailers involved include Jewel-Osco, Home Depot and possibly others.
If your card has been compromised, we will mail you a new Golden Eagle Community Bank Debit Card, to replace your current card. You should expect to receive your new debit card shortly. Until that time, your current debit card will remain active with lowered limits. In the interim if you notice any unusual activity contact us immediately at 815-321-5000 or after hours 1-800-264-5578.
To help ensure the security of your account, please promptly activate your new debit card when you receive it by following the instructions provided with your new card.
Once activated, please update your new debit card information with any businesses you have set up to automatically debit your account for bill payments (e.g. health clubs, insurance companies, Internet service, etc.).
Rest assured that Golden Eagle Community Bank remains committed to protecting your privacy and security. We have all of the necessary processes and procedures in place to safeguard your personal information. If you have any questions, or would like more information regarding this issue, please call us at 815-321-5000.
