NOTICE OF YOUR FINANCIAL PRIVACY RIGHTS
Ensuring your financial privacy is of vital importance to Golden Eagle Community Bank.   Our bank employees understand the importance of properly handling your financial data with confidentiality and keeping your financial information secure is our top priority.
By explaining our Privacy Policy to you, we trust that you will better understand how we keep our customer information private and secure while using it to serve you better.  The provisions of this notice will apply to former customers as well as current customers, unless stated otherwise.

“We”, “ our”, and “us”, when used in this notice, mean Golden Eagle Community Bank.


This is our privacy notice for our customers.  When we use the words “you” and “your” we mean the following types of customers:

  • Our customers who are establishing a new relationship or have a continuing relationship by opening or holding one of the following products:
      • Deposit account (defined as Checking, Savings, Money Market, Certificate of      Deposit, IRA)
      • Loan account
      • Safe deposit box
  • Our Former Customers

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect non-public information about you from the following sources:

  • Information you provide on applications or other forms
  • Information about your transactions with us
  • Information about your transactions with non-affiliated third parties
  • Information from a consumer reporting agency
  • Information we receive as a result of verifying customer information

Non-Public Information: is personally identifiable financial information we collect when providing you one of our products.   Nonpublic information does not include information that is publicly available, such as information from a telephone directory or governmental records.  

Non-Affiliated Third Party:
is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate of ours.  This is also known as non-affiliated third party, or simply, an “other party”.

INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE ABOUT YOU
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.  We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

WHAT THIS MEAN FOR YOU
